Did you know that over 200,000 military personnel get out or retire from the military every year and only HALF of them know what they want to do post military? The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs estimates that 131,000 veterans are homeless on ANY GIVEN NIGHT. The University of Alabama found the rate of Veteran suicide is 24 A DAY. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, ONLY 5.9% of all businesses are veteran-owned in the U.S. The 5.9% are post-9/11 veterans who have gone on to open a business. This represents roughly 90% DROP from 49.7 percent of WWII veterans and 40 percent of Korean War veterans. I want to show veterans what's possible after the military. The military pushes going to school and using the GI Bill, but I don't believe a degree is worth the cost for the mediocre education you get. The reality is that education has not moved with the times. Schools remain remarkably similar to how they were 50, and even 100 years ago, yet the world has changed considerably in that period. The issue is that you are taught what the government thinks you need to learn, instead of what you need to learn to succeed and live a fulfilling life. It's modern day slavery. So, I want to connect with as many veterans as I can and show them that life after the military doesn't have to a nightmare, and they don't have to conform to society. Instead show them how they can build an online business teaching people what they are an experts in, and enjoy doing it. Show them that emotional and financial freedom is possible. I want to make a difference and I too NEVER want to worry about weather or not I have enough money to take care of my family.
