What Would Make This Group Amazing?
I'll be honest...I have no idea how to build a successful community / get people motivated / add massive value, in a group like this. But, I really want to. Can you share what would make this group amazing for you? Any help would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

@Cindy George WOW! Thank you so much for posting this. I am going to turn your comment into my to-do list. It's that good. I'm here for any questions you have around your niche/offer. Getting clarity on those always comes before the book.
For those of you who want to grow a personal brand / audience / email list...what's your #1 struggle in doing so?
This is the only way I market my services and many of my clients want to do the same. I want to see what questions / struggles people have with getting started or getting traction.

@Lawrence Payne what is the ultimate goal for your business? Are you trying to get clients?

@Cindy George Nice work! I can see you're taking a lot of action. It could be just a few tweaks away from working. Will you link your book so I can check it out? Also, are you giving the book away in a funnel anywhere (or just the workbook)?
The Awkward Coaching Call That Changed Everything
"I just want to sit in on the beach and drink margaritas for the rest of my life", he said. My face screwed up: "Nothing else?" "Nope", he replied. "Just want to be free." Something inside of me felt strange. I didn't know it yet, but that call would end up causing the biggest pivot in my business. At the time, I worked with 9-5ers who wanted to invest in rental properties to achieve financial freedom. My clients simply wanted out of the rat race. I used to wish they would ask me stuff like: "How can I start a coaching business? "How do I write a book?" I was ravenously learning about how to become an author, coach, podcaster, marketer, you name it... And I wanted to talk about this stuff with my clients... But, they didn't care. No fault of their own. Nothing wrong with wanting to sit on the beach. But for me, something was off. It took a couple of years for me to see it: I wasn't serving the right client. I wanted to serve folks just like me: -Mission-driven entrepreneurs. -Those with a message to share. -Those ready to change lives. So, I pivoted to serving coaches—and the clouds lifted. My assistant even said: "You seem so much happier in your videos now. I can tell your energy is better, since you're doing what you love." The lesson? Choose the right person, or be faced with an ultimatum down the road. The best customer to serve is the one with the same goals as you. Your own growth feeds into theirs (because you both are working on the same areas). Their goals are your goals. Pick one where you're a further ahead and charge for help. Now, when I hop on Zoom calls with clients, it feels like getting a beer with a friend. The customer is the absolute foundation of any business. Every other mistake is fixable. But you must get this one right.

How I Use Book Chapters to Create a TON of Content
This week I spent a long time writing a SINGLE book chapter, and felt unaccomplished. Then I put the chapter in AI and asked it to give me 20 tweets and shorter form post ideas. Ten minutes later I had tweets/threads scheduled out for the week. I also recorded it as a YouTube video (the most recent one I posted). Then I made it a blog post, sent as a newsletter, and posted the blog post on Medium. A single piece of great writing is an asset you can use in a dozen ways. And, you can post/share it repeatedly over time. I'm digging this book > content flywheel, because it accomplishes my goal of writing a bunch of books but also consistently posting to grow my audience. Just wanted to share in case this is helpful.

@Lawrence Payne Yeah I need the list myself, too.

@Lawrence Payne Nice! Yeah, I really like the "one badass piece of writing per week" approach, and then let AI help you convert it to all the other forms so you get a lot more juice from the fruit. This approach also keeps me focused instead of trying to be a perfect thread writer, youtuber, tweeter, etc (which is too much to try and optimize for).
