Beat The Cringe Challenge
Firstly, I have to thank @Jadelyn Rodriguez for the name, but we're going to do a "Beat the Cringe Challenge"! What does that mean? Being on camera is hard. It feels weird. It feels cringey. It feels uncomfortable. But the good news is... it gets easier! The best thing I've found to help is practice. What I've been doing for the past 30 days is creating a private video diary. Throughout the day, I pull out my phone camera and I talk about whatever. What you talk about isn't important, it's just doing it. Over the past few weeks of talking to my camera throughout the day... THE CRINGE IS LEAVING! I feel less weird, and talking on camera feels more natural. So I want to challenge all of you to beat the cringe also by creating a private video diary. For the next 7 days (starting out small), at least once a day, pull out your phone and record a 30-second video talking about whatever is going on. And then post that you did it in the comments of this post! (You don't have to share your video) Would anyone want specific prompts?
