Simplicity can be elusive
I used to think that simplicity in business meant minimal or no tech, and that this led to ease and flow. Boy was I wrong. It led me to starting over my entire social media following on 3 platforms when I got hacked and lost access to the accounts I had been growing since 2007. I had no email list or CRM to reach out to my warm network and past clients so I could invite them to follow my new accounts. Because I was 'keeping it simple'. If I'd only known what I know now. I would have understood that investing my time and energy in implementing personalized, smart systems WHILE I established my business and built trust with my growing community, would have saved me from heartbreak and losing out on almost a year's worth of potential sales. Please learn from my mistake. Don't try to do everything manually, or base your entire business growth strategy on social media accounts that could literally disappear overnight. Not sure how to systemize your lead gen and nurturing processes? Tell me about your current manual process, and I'll give you 3 ideas for systemizing or automating those steps.

@MelAnn Morales Awesome, thanks! Glad you've found something that works for your needs!💜
A Little About Me - But Maybe A Lot More Than What You Ever Wanted to Know 😆
My name is MelAnn. I am in Texas - a southern red state where religion and politics are one in the same & if I could lose weight raising my inner - and sometimes outer - eyebrow- I’d never have to watch my weight or cringe every time the fake news reporter on the floor of my bathroom gives me a “status report.” Because I do it a lot and I have witnessed some horrible things said and done in the name of Jesus that I’m pretty confident He would have no part of. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m married with children (teenagers). And my job seems to be TaxiUberLyft driver for my youngest - and it’s wearing me out. I’m going to try to keep this fairly short (but keep in mind that is a relative term 😆 EDIT: It’s not that short! 😬) Let’s face it - context matters which means our stories matter. I have lots of them! Feel free to scan and pick and choose or come back to gather in tidbits. It took me awhile to get to this About Me intro. I get interrupted every time I sit down to write it. My husband has Covid. My daughter is training for a job at the newest God’s Chicken place that is opening tomorrow and I had two crazy things happen to me back to back. I love our police officers - but interaction twice for two separate events in less than 24 hours is enough for a while. (I was a witness on one thing and a victim on another.) Also, I had something on my feed a few days ago that made me pause and reconsider some things. His response to the question “How did you know God’s call on for life was music?” rocked my little world this week. Check it out here - it’s pretty short: https://www.facebook.com/share/r/9BwCXMg4XBMSdrYg/?mibextid=UalRPS So, after that, rather than say this is God’s call for my life - I’m going to say it is God equipping me for His call as a writer, story concierge, Identity strategist, & facilitator of deep dive conversations and intimate (small gathering) retreats. It all wraps up nicely under Story Concierge & Community Facilitator. 🎀

@MelAnn Morales Thank you so much for sharing such a heartfelt & heartrending post! Just as @Angela Linville has a gift to connect people AND connect with them (helping them feel seen & heard), you have a gift to articulate what people are feeling--where they might be unable to adequately express themselves. May God richly bless you with the necessary resources to bring your vision about. Blessings & much success to you!💜

@MelAnn Morales You're most welcome!💜
Hello
Hi everyone. I am new to the community. I’m Becks from the UK, I have recently started in digital marketing. However, I have been studying theology on and off for a good few years now with a view to hopefully one day preach and blend in deliverance. 🙏 If I am going to be honest, I want the Holy Spirit to lead. And, for a long while God had told me to build him an altar and I have been running away from it. This morning (UK) I felt a nudge from the Holy Spirit, so I recorded my first video on offence (the subtlety of the enemy). Can I please ask for your advice, would you do a Facebook group, page, or just stick with YouTube and TikTok? Blessings. X

@Rebecca Flynn Congratulations on your success! I really like the name, also. It's very similar to a Bible study back when my 37-year-old daughter was a couple years old. It was a very good study; the title was From Pit to Pinnacle. I'm praying & believing that you will have good success with yours!💜
🌼 What Bees and Deborah Can Teach Us About Leadership 🐝
Have you ever stopped to watch a bee at work? These tiny creatures play a massive role in sustaining life on Earth. They pollinate plants, ensuring that the world keeps bearing fruit. They don’t work alone, either—each bee in the hive knows its role and fulfills it faithfully, collaborating to serve the greater good. This reminds me of Deborah in the Bible. Her name means “bee,” and she lived up to it—diligent, purposeful, and unwavering in her calling. As a judge, prophetess, and leader, she guided Israel to victory and inspired a nation to rise. Here’s what bees and Deborah teach us about being effective leaders in business or ministry: ✨ Know Your Role. Like the bee and Deborah, operate confidently in the purpose God has given you. Your work may seem small now, but it contributes to a greater kingdom mission. ✨ Work in Community. Bees thrive because they work together, and so did Deborah. Leadership isn’t about doing it all yourself; it’s about inspiring others to step into their roles and collaborate for the greater good. ✨ Persist Through Challenges. Bees face countless threats, but they keep going. Deborah led through oppression, trusting God to bring victory. You can, too. ✨ Create a Legacy. The work you’re doing today can impact generations. Whether you’re building a business or leading a ministry, think about the legacy you’re leaving behind. ✨ Stay Connected to Your Source. Bees depend on flowers for nourishment, just as we depend on God. Stay grounded in prayer and scripture to stay fruitful. 🐝 The next time you see a bee, let it remind you that even small, consistent actions can create big, lasting impact. Your work matters, more than you realize. Which lesson resonates most with you? Let’s talk about it in the comments! 👇

Work in Community for sure @Angela Linville! My coach & I discussed this on a 1:1 just this morning! He was inspiring ME to inspire my team to step into their roles.🙉 I totally see this as a key to my team & me collaborating to serve the greater good.💜
