The ONE Thing: How Focusing on Less Can Lead to More
We live in a world of more. More tasks at work, more activities to juggle, more goals to achieve, more stuff to manage. We feel overwhelmed, stressed and like we’re running on a hamster wheel trying to keep up with modern life. But what if there was a simpler way to be successful and happy? What if the answer wasn’t more but less? That’s where the idea of "The ONE Thing" comes in. Instead of doing everything, focus on the one thing that makes everything else easier or unnecessary. It sounds simple, but it can be incredibly powerful. If you think about it, Apple had the iPhone, Google had Search, Oprah had her connection with people. Extraordinary success comes from having one key priority, doing it well, and letting everything else fall into place like dominoes. For example, focusing on improving your health can lead to more energy, better focus at work, and improved relationships, creating a positive chain reaction in multiple areas of your life. The takeaways? Multitasking is a lie (yep, it really makes us less productive). Success comes from creating a domino effect, knocking down one meaningful goal after another. Purpose, priority and consistent action leads to extraordinary results. Focus on what matters and let the rest follow. If you want to read more about this I’ve written a full post on it—complete with examples and tips. Check it out here: The ONE Thing: Simplifying Our Lives for Extraordinary Results I know we all have a lot to do and I hear my friends saying, "I have this, I have that." So I thought this might help you focus. Let me know what you think! What’s your “ONE Thing” right now? @Rudaiba Tarannum I understand what you're saying, but it's not particularly productive answering question for 1 hour everyday. I'm not saying that this server is bad, all I'm saying is that it might be counterproductive sometimes.
What colleges are you sweats applying to?

Wouldn't be surprised if you get in
How long does research take?
On average, how long does it take to read a research paper(abstract, intro, figures, conclusions and maybe methodologies)? How about a literature review?

@Ethan Reshad What do you mean by annotating? Personally I just take notes. I'm not on an ipad or anything so I can't really highlight anyway.
Something About Coding
When I joined this community, I saw all these people talking about coding. I've done coding(very briefly though), and I sucked at it. So whenever I see something about coding here, I get slightly nervous because of how its importance is emphasized in here, which makes me think of a future, where if I don't learn coding, I would be homeless, selling oranges on the side of a road in Las Vegas. Although this is unrealistic, I don't want to end up in a situation where I am disadvantaged because of a missed opportunity. Currently, I am looking for a free platform, like a Duolingo-type learning course, but for coding. If anybody has suggestions, I would happily take them and try them out for myself. Thanks!

Harvard also has multiple free courses on programming such as CS50 python and ML. The lessons are really great from what I've done and there are hours of material. Personally, I haven't completed it, but many people seem to like it. And if you want, you can also try to use a free course on python on Udacity. It has lots of exercises and quizzes too.
How do you feel about competition?
How do you feel about competition? Personally, I find it exciting, yet scary at the same time. I enjoy meeting knew people, getting feedback, and the overall experience, but it is also quite daunting.

@Jihoon Choi Maybe if you consider things like blooket or kahoot(if you know what that is). But those only really exist in the classroom and there is usually nothing too serious.
