AP Human Geography Tips
So I'm taking AP Human Geo this year and its not exactly going well for me. I'm shooting for valedictorian, but the recent 86 I got on my major test is definitely not helping my cause. I was wondering if you guys have any tips from your personal experiences on how to study for APHG, both for in class tests and the actual AP test itself.

@Syeda Zainab Fatima Yes, but aren't grades based on homework, tests(or quizzes), and exams?

@Syeda Zainab Fatima But it does contribute, right? That means it is important, especially if these scores are consistent throughout the school year.
Something About Coding
When I joined this community, I saw all these people talking about coding. I've done coding(very briefly though), and I sucked at it. So whenever I see something about coding here, I get slightly nervous because of how its importance is emphasized in here, which makes me think of a future, where if I don't learn coding, I would be homeless, selling oranges on the side of a road in Las Vegas. Although this is unrealistic, I don't want to end up in a situation where I am disadvantaged because of a missed opportunity. Currently, I am looking for a free platform, like a Duolingo-type learning course, but for coding. If anybody has suggestions, I would happily take them and try them out for myself. Thanks!

@Syeda Zainab Fatima Thank you for your input, but I am intentionally looking for platforms that teach coding. If you have any, it would be nice if you'd add them.

Are you a strategic Thinker?
So, I recently read this article on how to be strategic, the truth is, everyone has to do some level of thinking in their day-to-day lives and many people consider themselves to be a strategist based on that but in reality, only a few of us are real strategists. Take a moment and do a personality test online, was your result INTJ? If so, chances are you might be a strategist if you've taken the test honestly. If not, the fewer letters that match, the further you are from being a strategist. but being a strategist can come both naturally or through cultivation. So, don't let those 4 letters stop you from integrating strategic thinking into your life. Read the article I've linked to get a rough idea of what steps you can take, I do see some conflicting and controversial things here though so, if you have a thought that differs from the article, comment on this or DM me, always happy to learn or debate. I saw this post out of curiosity and realized I was an INTJ(yay). But I think it should be good to remember that most personality tests are not accurate or fully trustable, as only a select few, such as the OCEAN test are relatively reliable.

@Rudaiba Tarannum What? Just because the results change over time the test is accurate? That is one of the bare minimums for this kind of thing. Just because it can change doesn't mean it is a reliable measure of a person's accuracy.

Do we really need experiments/lab research for Science Fairs?
Hello, I am currently researching about "Korea's education system and its detrimental effects on Korean student's mental health". It is currently planned to be a literature review, and I am doing extensive research by reading books and articles. But I do have questions. I want to submit this to ISEF, and other science fairs that I would come across. Though my project is a noteworthy one, it is a literature review, which I don't see many people do in here and at other science fairs. So I was just curious if you guys have seen projects like mine which doesn't fit the conventional science fair topic. Do you think my research could be seen as a "science fair" topic? If not, what improvements could I make? Thank you!

I think you might want to try to apply to scientific method in some way. Your topic is interesting, but it doesn't seem like science, or how science is viewed. The literal definition of science is "the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation, experimentation, and the testing of theories against the evidence obtained". If you look at ISEF science fair winners, their topics are all something that would be considered "science", or just STEM in general, compared to yours, which seems to be(at surface level, idk the whole topic) a mix of statistics and/or psych(I may be wrong, correct me if needed.), which makes me believe that this won't fit, even if you adapt it by adding surveys. Why do you want to put this in a science fair? For me, this topic simply doesn't look like it would fit in with other projects. However, I am not the most qualified person to be saying this. It might be better to just send this to a research paper competition of sorts. If you have anything you want to add, I'd be happy to contribute.
