🥇 The #1 Thing Missing In Most Businesses
All the hype that you can scale a business out of nowhere with little experience does a lot disservice to people. There are a few rare folks out there that can talk and market there way to success with no real product that works, but most of us can't. I think it takes a hackers mind and maybe a lack of ethics to do that. But the problem is, if you go online you'll see all these people with success, telling you what to do, how to do it, you just need this ONE thing. It's super confusing honestly. For myself I've turned off a lot of that noise. I don't really listen to all the get rich schemes. I have learned a lot online from people, but I build my own unique path. I used to save all the strategies and tactics I saw in an Airtable database (of course =). It was overwhelming to say the least. I would have to spend HOURs just sorting through it all. And I mostly never to use any of it. Now I don't write down all the ideas I hear, or save posts, none of it. I keep my mind free from all that. I only keep track of my goals, my current blocker, and I only try and solve that one blocker. I don't create 10 other things to do tomorrow. I started to develop this awareness personally when I started to develop a mission and vision for what kind of world I wanted to help build. A mission and vision gives you a clear set of values and boundaries to live your life. They don't always give you the perfect answer to every question, but in the beginning they surely help you avoid a lot of the noise, and it immediately eliminates all the things people say you need to do. You ALWAYS can check the information that comes into your brain against that mission, and start to discard 99% of what you hear, because it just doesn't apply to you. Even still, every successful business owner says you need one (a mission and vision), but to me it still felt quite vague. Or it felt manufactured when I tried to build one. So for a long time I never put much effort into it. It started to change when I met someone really passionate about building a vision and we got to crafting one for myself.

More VS Right (re: Winning the Skool Games 🏆)
I wanted to thank everyone for their support in the Skool Games. I had a lot of supportive messages, DMs, cheers, comments and congratulations. And many of you joined the No-Code Architects—so you literally made it happen. Not me. Since yesterday when it ended, I've been thinking a lot. And I'll tell you what I've been feeling. Sure I'm excited, but I also fear loss, what if I can't keep it up? Why did some ask for a refund? Why have some already cancelled? How can I make people more happy? How do I keep growing, more, more, more! What if this all falls apart? It's a hole you can't fill. But I've gained just enough experience over the past 5 years (after selling my previous company), to keep a level head about this. Over this time I've had some extreme highs and lows, huge successes and multiple total breakdowns. It took longer than I wanted, but I've learned all the ups and downs were just a result of losing focus, getting ahead of myself, getting a quick win and wanting MORE. Not being OK with where I was, not forging through during a loss. Was 4th place in the June Skool Games a success? absolutely, but it's a just a second in time. If you zoom out it's just a tiny seed that will take time to grow into a something great. Nothing grand has changed in this past month. You have to be patient. It's not about more, more, more, now, now, now. More subscribers, more sales, more success... but instead, it's about the RIGHT mission and vision, serving the RIGHT people and taking the RIGHT actions. Slowly, overtime, one step in front of the other. Yes I'm working hard to improve as quickly as I can. Yes I'm working hard to make the best experience I can for my clients, this community and the No-Code Architects. But it all takes time, the good things take time. That's why digging into a mission and vision is so important—because its bigger than you, it gives you time. It gives you success over any failure given enough time. You can always fall back on the vision when things are going the wrong way.

Thumbnail Feedback? 🙏
I wish I asked for more feedback but I'm afraid what people will say (yes me too). But this Sunday is an important YouTube video so I wanted to ask you and get your opinion. Which one do you like better, any feedback?

Yes, Videoask is great. I used this a few years ago and had very good results.
Notion vs Airtable
@Stephen G. Pope I use Notion for my content machine, can I map it all in Notion? and not air table. What are the different ones and why do you use Airtable?

@Mark Robinson yes, I had the same problem too. I can only recommend you to buy the content engine from @Stephen G. Pope. Here you really have a machine for your team. Yes, it is based on a different system than Notion, but you immediately have everything in one central location and the automation is awesome
