Investment Banking Blog
Hi everyone, I wanted to share that I have a blog dedicated to investment banking. I’ve written about topics such as the importance of DCF financial modelling in M&A transactions, deal synergies, and the role of Global Banking & Markets in the global economy. I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback. If there are specific topics you’d like to see covered, please let me know! Here is the link: https://investmentfrontiercom.wordpress.com/?_gl=1*23x3t4*_gcl_au*NDIxOTYxMDMyLjE3MjQxNDk0MDY. Thanks for your time!

Economics and Finance blog
I have recently started writing a blog discussing various topics around economics and finance, but I was just looking for thoughts on where this would be included in a CV. Thanks

Add it under leadership
CV
Hi I’m in year 12 and I’m planning to apply for university and degree apprenticeships and this requires me to have my cv ready. I’ve spoken to a few people and they showed me their cvs and some of them were much older soon retiring and some were interns but their cvs were very short and everything was written horizontal and nothing was in paragraphs so I was wondering if I’m applying to apprenticeships my cv should be laid out in that format and whether it would impact me landing a role.

Hi, I agree with everything Kayla said. The CV layout Hassan always shows in his workshops is: 1. Education 2. Experience 3. Leadership 4. Additional Information Include 3-4 bullet points for each experience and try to quantify the bullet points. Example: Managed a portfolio of £10 million in assets, achieving an average annual return of 12%, outperforming the market by 3%. Hope it helps!
Financial modelling
I recently recieved advice that financial modelling could help me get into investment banking. Does anyone have any recommendations for any particular courses for this?

I am enrolled in the Wall Street Prep Financial & Valuation Modeling Certification Program, and I'm enjoying it. It’s a valuable investment widely used by many financial institutions to train their analysts. https://www.wallstreetprep.com/self-study-programs/premium-package/

Hi Kelvin, I suggest reading these articles from Hassan. They have plenty of helpful advice to maximise your chances of securing a training contract.
