Sales Is Seduction, Not a Rape Sales isnāt about forcing things, itās about having power to make people want what you want them to do. if someone is wearing a coat in the room, Instead of telling them to take it off, just turn up the heat. Make it feel like it was their idea all along. 2. Donāt Answer Questions Hereās the trick: whoeverās asking the questions is in control. If they ask you a question, donāt just give a plain answer. Ask them something right back. If they ask, āWhat results can I expect?ā you can say, āWhat results are you aiming for?ā It keeps you in the driverās seat, so youāre steering the conversation. 3. Listen More, Talk Less Youād think sales is all about talking, right? Wrong. Itās about listeningāreally listening. Theyāre your best source of information. Who are they? What do they want? How do they like things? The more you listen, more ammo you have to attack. 4. Whoever Cares More, Wins The Sale People can smell your intentions from a mile away. If youāre struggling to close, it might be because you donāt believe in what youāre selling. If your only OBJECTIVE is to help them, Youāll sound so trustworthy, theyāll want to work with you.
