Science Olympiad Prep?
So like is there any other "secret" or lesser known way of studying for the science Olympiad. Obviously I'll do practice tests and such, but if there's anything else I can do, please tell! (P.S.: Any tips for Sci-Oly?)

@Syeda Zainab Fatima I've tried taking notes, but can I just use quizzes and practice tests if I know the concepts?
What are some ways I can familiarize with the subject of psychology?
I've just entered into 11th grade, and while I'm super interested in the field of psychology, I feel like my knowledge is very restricted. My essay got shortlisted for the Psychology category in the John Locke Institute Essay Competition 2024, which has motivated me to further associate myself with the field. Any tips? I have absolutely no resources outside of my school library and the internet.

Watch Crash Course Psychology, I have taken Psychology before and I can confirm that the information covered in Crash Course is pretty much the same as what I learned in the course https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eal4-A89IWY&list=PL8dPuuaLjXtOPRKzVLY0jJY-uHOH9KVU6. *Warning* If you just watch the videos without reviewing them, taking notes, or any other memorization technique, you will forget it. There is a reason that Psychology is meant to be taken over the course of a year (225 minutes a week); if you just watched enough videos to finish by the end of the year it would take you 15 minutes a week. But it is a great introduction to the subject, although I've only watched about half of it.
AP Tests in Middle School
I was wondering if anyone knows if it’s a good idea to take AP test in middle school. You see, I am currently taking some courses at a community college, so I am familiar with the content for some AP classes. So, it shouldn’t take too much time away from me to take AP test in middle school. But do colleges even care? Also, does it look bad if I take some classes at a community college, but I makes me retake them in high school?

To clarify, I can't take the classes (in the official school), but I can take the test. Is it still worth it in this case?
Pure Math Learning
Hello Community! I am thinking about doing some research in math, but I am not quite at the level where I can understand research papers. I am pretty good at competition math and I know most of calculus (I'm not too grade at multivariable/linear algebra though). Does anyone have any recommendations for a quick way to learn some of the material needed for collegiate math? What should I learn next, and how should I do it?

Thank You! Do you have any recommendations for learning topology/real analysis/complex analysis or other really hard classes?

@Jadon Subbu Yeah, I’m currently reading “Book of Proof” by Richard Hammack.
Has anybody published pure math research?
Math research is different than other topics, in that you can not just go to a lab or something like that. I have not jet heard of anyone who has published pure math research (so no ai ml or physics). Does anyone have any advice? THX in advance

I haven't done any pure math research, but I am very interested in it. Do you have any recommendations for what to learn after calculus?

@Noxl G. Yeah, I'm thinking of using "Real Analysis a Radical Approach," after I finish "The Book of Proof" by Richard Hammack (available for free at the author's website)
