@Mehran Khan 2 Reasons Reason #1 - Two different mentors gave me this advice (Jason Capital and another mentor who isn't public online) They both told me... If you're good at marketing and advertising then you should stop doing it for other people for retainers or a piece of the profit. You should find your own product (e-com or info) and scale that. Typically people who are amazing at marketing are slowed down by operations, team calls, client management and the tedious business tasks. But agencies are 90% tedious business tasks. The best marketers don't run agencies lol. Also, with most agencies you're just building someone else's cashcow. I've scaled multiple brands from 0 to 7 figures. They're the ones vacationing in Mexico while I'm at home strategizing what campaigns to run next quarter. That isn't a fair deal Reason #2 - Most clients won't win and it's not your fault. This is someone I had to come to terms with... But no matter how much you try and want certain clients to win. They wont win. Their product is not good enough. Their market is too saturated. They won't make the necessary changes needs to scale their company They don't have enough capital. They wont put in the work (to film content, develop their brand) They have the wrong mindset. And this has NOTHING to do with your skillset. You can be an AMAZING media buyer or copywriter or funnel builder. But the client will hold you back.... I've seen this multiple times where agencies will blow a client's revenue up.. Then the client goes out, making multiple bad decisions. And then expect the agency to make them more money to cover up their mistakes. Again - is that a fair deal for you the agency owner? You might as well have 100% full ownership of the clients business Which leads back to reason #1.

Stuck in the cycleā€¦
For the last few weeks / months weā€™ve been fighting with facebook when scaling our campaigns. Iā€™m kind of running out of ideas, so finding some Einstein here who could help is the last chance. Hereā€™s whatā€™s been happening: We produce a new batch of about 5 video ad creatives. Ads get launched with CBO, AP+ (total broad targeting). Day 1 - Good results (20-30$ CPA, 4% CTR, 3-5x ROAS) Day 2 - Good results (21-31$ CPA, 4% CTR, 3-5x ROAS) Day 3 - Good results (22-32$ CPA, 4% CTR, 3-5x ROAS) Amazing results, letā€™s go scale! Only 10% budget scale so we donā€™t fuck it up. Combine it with horizontal scale as well (nothing extreme) Day 4 - Good results (23-33$ CPA, 3.5% CTR, 2-4x ROAS) Day 5 - Good results (24-34$ CPA, 3.5% CTR, 2-4x ROAS) Day 6 - Good results (25-35$ CPA, 3.5% CTR, 2-4x ROAS) But thenā€¦ Something happens. Day 7 - (CPA $100+, Negative ROAS etcā€¦) Ad and the whole campaign is dead. Like in avengers when Thanos snaps the fingers :D So Iā€™m like okayā€¦ Letā€™s do new ads. And the cycle resumes. Weā€™ve been over 38 ad creatives already, going after cold audience. Maximum where I can get it is about 300-400$ daily spend. Even if I donā€™t scale the campaign and keep the budget sameā€¦ It still diesā€¦ Another thing that bothers me is that I know it is possible to scale further. I did it last year with similar offer, same niche, ads etcā€¦ 3k spend daily, 10k revenue daily, 950k generated within couple of months. But now I canā€™t seem to get to those levels, even when funnel is converting better. What Iā€™m missing? I donā€™t know. If you have experience with this and solved it please write how. You will for sure get some price if the advice works šŸ˜Š

@Lukas Sabo You see this a lot Alex talked about this in his older Iron course. Every market has a spend cap. If you go past it , youā€™ve reached all the available customers in that market for YOUR OFFER. Keywords = your offer . So you have to change the offer to appeal to more sections of that market . Also , remember that we donā€™t run ads in a vacuum . Your customer see ads from other advertisers . Other advertisers are constantly changing their offer to appeal to more customers . So even if an offer worked last year, so much could have changed in those 12 months to where this offer is no longer KING. Customers become more aware and sophisticated . Their demands change . The most recent example for me was a client who sold a gut health capsule years ago and relaunched theif winning ads now. Their market has gone through 2 HUGE changes since then. Gut health capsules -> Gut health liquid (easier to swallow ) Gut health liquid -> Gut health gummies (Taste better ) I know I didnā€™t give you media buyer answer you were looking for like try this new targeting or ad creative ā€¦ But the high level strategy stuff moves the needle more . -Kim
