I joined skool in 2020 because of one of Samโ€™s coursesโ€ฆ.I thought it was interesting but it wasnโ€™t as active then and I ended up not using it. Came back in February 2024 and the energy was a different one. Love at second sight. I moved my business over after.

@Arda Halibryam The other advantage is that he will saving money and at the end of the year he could have a decent amount saved up that he can do something bigger with @Caleb Hosmer
New Discovery algorithm update
Now we show the top 5 groups from every category on the homepage in random order. This gives groups from all categories a better chance of being discovered. Plus it's more fun. We used to rank all groups globally, now we rank them per category. We tried a new algorithm, but as many of you pointed out, it wasn't very good. We reverted to the original algorithm. Thank you for your feedback. Our intention is to make things better, and we did, but we had to make things worse for 24h to get there. Sorry about that. More detail in the video. Enjoy!

@Luke Gilbert while it sort of defines vibe too but itโ€™s specific to time. The word zeitgeist really just defines the trend/mood/ideas of a time period. This is best definition I found online: the defining spirit or mood of a particular period of history as shown by the ideas and beliefs of the time. :)

thanks for having me @Matthew Thompson โ˜บ๏ธ funny enough, we did this interview the day before the mastermind and little did I know that the โ€œhow to 100MRRโ€ was going to be revealed the next day ๐Ÿคฉ now I am prepping my structure and team and soon we will press the launch button ๐Ÿš€it was such an amazing weekend with incredible people. I can recommend it to anyone to either win as skool game player or even as an affiliate. The value you get is incredible.
How To Host Your First In-Person Event
Just finished hosting 50+ Skoolers from around the world in my hometown Belfast. Here's three things I learned to help you plan your first IRL event :) // 1. Don't plan the schedule too strictly Everyone's favourite moments of the week were unplanned. - The unexpected topics we covered - The random places we went for dinner - And the laughs/tears we shared along the way There's a reason why @Sam Ovens and @Alex Hormozi start every single 1-day with a blank page. @Nick Guadagnoli calls it "emergence theory," and it's the secret sauce most IRL events skip. (It took me 7 back-to-back trips to Vegas to finally figure this out lol. Don't take as long as I did). // 2. Leave a little wiggle room for things to "go wrong" Something @Ted Carr and I always talk about is that "the difference between a trip and an adventure is that something goes wrong." - Getting stuck in fog while hiking up a mountain - Forgetting a towel while going sea-swimming - Not having enough chairs because so many people showed up All these things created "shared experiences" for us to go through together โ€” which resulted in super-powerful memories, bonds and stories. We didn't get it all right. But we had a lot of fun along the way. // 3. Your Community is craving in-person connection more than you think. People spent thousands of dollars to fly to Belfast from places like Canada, France, Holland, Switzerland, Germany, United States, and Australia (35 hours). The one reason they came? (According to @Calvin Hollywood) "Proximity," AKA to be around: - Like-minded people - Who are trying to achieve the same goal - And a group where they felt like they belonged This is the reason people joined your community in the first place. Why not take it offline?

Yay!!! Well done @Matthew Thompson Looks like so much fun!! I'll come next time :) I have two in-person events coming up, too. 8 Days in China visiting a fair and manufacturers and two-day Workshop in Munich and visiting Christmas Markets together :) I realized how important it is to people to mix learning and working with fun.
