Only 6km 🏃‍♂️
It was only 6km, a slow and steady 6km, a mostly zone 2 6km but that was its purpose. And for that I am grateful, it was a run, not a race. I hope everyone is living their Sunday with purpose. If doing nothing then do nothing with or on purpose. Namaste 🙏 for the week ahead.

Mostly zone 2 runs are awesome and the thing that's lead to the majority of the progress I've made with running and general fitness levels

And great effort 🙏🏼👍🏻
Hey team, what’s next?
So the Halloween heist is over, what is everyone doing next in the lifelong pursuit of longevity, health and happiness as an everyday affleet? I’m coming off the back of HyRox Birmingham and a few days of winter sun in Spain (thankfully not in Valencia) which has given me some benchmarks and time to think and plan and mull over what I want for, from and beyond 2025. Massive monday tomorrow, I’m back to work after just over a week off. I’ve prepped 3days worth of overnight oats, turkey-mince with veggies, I’ve not got a workout /training plan loaded up yet and no doubt there will be a fuck-tonne of emails to catch up on 🤦‍♂️. So what is next? > I’m toying with trying a HyRox Pro if an opportunity presents before trying to lock in another Men’s Open race in which I will set a target of sun-75mins. I’ll Probably need a coach for the latter, and I think I’m ready for one. Does anyone know a good one?? > I’ve 18months left in my current job, so it’s time to start the plan for what’s next > writing down all the stuff I’ve been mulling over in Spain 🇪🇸 > Commiting to my wellness, and using the Level 5 TC Daily Planner as a tool. Let’s get after it people… 🤜 💥 🤛

Great stuff on the meal prep mate... this is where a lot of people fall over. If the emails and calendar get busy make sure you block out some time to get the training in which I'm sure you will. I think I know a guy who is pretty decent and knows his stuff on this... if you are considering it then doing it has been massively life changing for me. Can't recommend it highly enough. As for my goals, another couple of Hyrox but they are now secondary focus. 70.3 Ironman booked for next June and I need to get many hours in the pool to conquer technique so I don't kill myself before the bike/ run

@Matt T when you have 5 hours to walk around Stansted then I'll be the quickest to reply to anything!
Max HR = 220 - age
If this is true, and I think science says it is, then my max HR is 177. Here is my HR from HyRox on Friday, and I got to 176bpm That’s 99.4%, that’s Zone 5 😂, thats pain and suffering but also lots of fun. Have a lovely day all

Going on this my max is 179 and I also hit a high of 176 coming off the BBJ going into run 5... that first lap round after the burpees was most definitely pain, suffering and questioning why I was there!
