Pop-Ins - Here We Go
Today, I will be attending a meet and greet with at a senior living center as they introduce the new Director of Sales and Marketing. This is my first time going to an event like this in the area! There is an opportunity for me to directors from other senior living centers in the area. Any words of wisdom for questions to ask? Should I give people my Pop-In or just a business card? Thanks for all help in advance!

Carol, this just goes to show when we walk in faith, not fear, the blessing is around the corner.
Monday Motivation
Good morning! I took today's motivation from Alex Hormozi with Acquisition.com. He's a motivational marketer extraordinaire, entrepreneur and philanthropist. "A young samurai once asked a Zen master how long it would take to achieve mastery. "10 years," the master said. The samurai, eager to speed things up, asked "What if I work twice as hard and practice day and night?" The master replied: "20 years." When the confused samurai asked why it would take longer, the master explained: "If you have one eye fixed on your destination, you only have one eye left to find your way." In other words, as Warren Buffet so eloquently stated, "you can't have a baby in a month by getting 9 girls pregnant!" Why does that work, though??? With speed, you skip the fundamentals. You don’t build systems. You chase shortcuts. But success isn’t built on rushing. It’s built on consistent action, strong foundations, and the patience to embrace the process. Mastery isn’t about getting there first; it’s about getting there right. This week and next, slow down, focus on the next right step, and trust that the journey will take you exactly where you’re meant to be. You’ve got this! 💪

Monday Motivation
Good morning, This is a very good post to consider. In life, there are many challenges before us and it is so easy to just run right over them instead I’d seeing the beauty or danger ahead. Last week, I experienced a couple of hiccups while moving to fast. This week, I’m going to enjoy the journey before me and see what happens naturally.
Monday Motivation
Good morning and Happy Monday, friends! Today's motivation comes to me from JimKwik (American brain coach, podcaster, writer, and entrepreneur. He is the founder of Kwik Learning, an online learning platform; the host of the Kwik Brain podcast; and the author of Limitless). As we move into what I like to call the "quiet weeks" that wrap up our year, I know many of us will be with family, which can bring laughter and joy, but can also be difficult for those of us who have difficulty establishing and maintaining boundaries. So, let's look at a BOUNDARY: B e Aware O f What is U nacceptable and N ormalize saying no D o what is best for you A nd know that things aren't your R esponsibility all the time. Y our needs matter too. If I'm being honest, it's only been in recent years that I've been able to establish healthy boundaries with my own extended family. It takes practice and courage to hold onto your own boundaries, and I'll be the first to admit....it can be really difficult to stick to them when you're feeling the pressure to be who your family thinks you are. Does anyone else find themselves reverting back to an older version of themselves when they're with family? It happens to me, too. Remember that accepting the new version of you can be most difficult for family members who remember the old you, but you're under no obligation to fulfill a role that no longer suits you. Be courageous in being the best, healthiest version of yourself and do it with pride. Stick to the boundaries that keep your mental health in check. It's OK to put yourself first. They'll eventually catch up!!

Jen, thank you for this insight. As I read your post, especially how you broke down BOUNDARY, it brought to mind a recent conversation I had with someone about the importance of ‘self care’ and how it is important that we remember to take care of ourselves. Similarly, setting and maintaining boundaries is just as important to our lives and it is ok to say Yes or No if the request does or does not fit in our lives. Take care everyone 😀
New Year-Marketing
Tonight I'm working on my calendars that I will be mailing out at the beginning of the year. I choose to do this so that I don't get lost in the holiday shuffle. Anyone else send out cards at the beginning of the year?
