Just recently finished this book and it was super inspiring.
The main idea is that going for 10x the results (think qualitatively, not quantitatively) is actually easier to accomplish than trying to just 2x because when you think in terms of "Will this provide massive results" it actually helps you eliminate a lot of things in your life.
They talk a lot about the Pareto principle (the 80/20 rule - 80% of your outcomes come from 20% of causes) and how if we eliminate the 80% that isn't getting us massive results, we'll make leaps in our lives and careers.
I also enjoyed a concept they discussed that it's okay to "Want" something without justifying it. So often, when we say we want something (a new car, bigger house, a nice watch), there's a need to justify it. Well, according to Dan Sullivan, if someone asks why you want something, you should just say, "Because I want it."
Anyways, well worth the read!
