Handmade Sign

A guy contacted me via Facebook and asked me to carve him a live edge table top with his logo, I told him I wasn’t confident I could copy his logo and that I’d like to “practice” on a scrap piece of wood. I don’t think it was good enough because when I sent him this practice piece via mail, he backed out of the live edge table with his logo, said his wife didn’t want it but he would pay me for the “practice “ piece “

I think I still made like $300, I was still bummed out because he already committed to the table and SLAB, and at that time I was kind of counting on that money for our property taxes.

So dudes ask your wife first ok?
