🎄🎁 Christmas Shopping with a Business Twist 🎁🎄
Today, I went out Christmas shopping, and let me tell you, I couldn’t turn off my business brain if I tried! 🧠💡 Over the years, I’ve trained myself to see the world differently, and now, every store, every product, every sign is like a lesson in branding, marketing, and selling.
Here’s what I mean:
☕ Nespresso – Ohhh, they got it RIGHT. Walking into that store, it’s like being ushered into a luxury experience. The moment I stepped in, they brought me directly to a counter and made me feel like a VIP. They know their product is premium, and they treat you like you’re buying into a lifestyle, not just coffee. No chaos, no rush, just that “you matter to us” energy. That’s the type of treatment that makes you loyal to a brand!
🛍️ Lululemon vs. American Eagle – Listen, I love their products, but let’s be real: the experience isn’t the same. It’s more transactional, less personal, and definitely doesn’t have that “premium” vibe. And this isn’t just about products; it’s about how a brand makes you feel.
🖤 Black Friday Offers – As I shopped, I couldn’t help but analyze the strategies. Some brands caved to the frenzy, throwing out discounts just to keep up, while others (like luxury brands) held their ground. No crazy sales, just confidence in their product’s value. And those no-brainer offers? They get me. You can tell when a brand has really thought about the angle, the messaging, and the experience.
It’s funny how much all of this ties back to what I teach. 🤓 Whether you’re pricing your offer, creating your “brand vibe,” or thinking about how to market what you’re selling, there’s so much to learn from just observing what’s working (or not) in the world around you.
✨ Here’s my takeaway: Every detail matters, your branding, your customer experience, your messaging. It’s not just about what you sell; it’s how you make people feel while they’re buying it. That’s the kind of thinking I want to help you apply to your business, whether you’re building your first community or scaling to $10K months.
Now, back to my coffee... because Nespresso knows how to keep me hooked. ☕❤️
What’s a brand or store you’ve noticed does things REALLY well? Drop it below, I’m curious! 👇
