Corporate Interviews/Testimonials
Here are a few frames from my recent shoot.
I achieve this look with a cheap Godox lighting kit I paid $450 for. It came with 2 lights, diffusers, and stands. I have only 30 minutes on set to get lights, mics, and cams up so very little time to play. I've learned to hire a PA for these shoots to help.
I work one on one with a producer from an agency who hires me for these 1 day shoots. We start with interviews, break and then shoot broll. The shoot runs from 9am - 3pm and they pay me $2200 if the producer is there, or $2900 if I'm solo. She conducts the interviews via zoom or in person. No editing. Just delivery of RAW files. It's an extremely low stress production.
Furthermore. I once had dreams of purchasing Aputure's, light domes, and Cstands, however now I'm dubious. One light would easily run me $1500..... My client has made it clear to me that she is more than happy with these results. The major benefits of my Godox kit is of course that it is super cheap. I don't even sand bag them on set because they are so light it's virtually impossible to hurt someone and if they fall they land light. Even if one were to fail, I'd still have a key light and they are of course crazy cheap to replace.
