Leveraging marketing
I recently did a shoot for a new adventure camper company. My client was more than happy with what we produced and I consider this a gold client as they pay my full rates, respect me as a professional, are in my niche (adventure content), and are willing to retain me long term. I produced a series of walkthrough style videos of their units as well as social media. Now they are eager to get more. They took my content and have been aggressively running ads on instagram and youtube. My question is: where would you go from here? How can I track their progress with sales/marketing and leverage that in the future with more clients?

How I Closed $13,900 With Retargetting
I just now reached out to an old client and presented a new offer, I just now closed $13,900 tonight for 1 day of filming. “Retarget.” It’s the fastest way to generate revenue in 24 hours or less. Who here knows how to Retarget?

How To Legally Setup Your Business
If you want to pay the government last and keep most of your money, then you need to incorporate correctly. I suggest an S-Corp. I partnered with my tax specialist to bring you this video.

Good to know. We are obviously not tax professionals and often when you do ask a CPA these questions they'll always begin and end with "Well..... it depends...."
Corporate Interviews/Testimonials
Here are a few frames from my recent shoot. I achieve this look with a cheap Godox lighting kit I paid $450 for. It came with 2 lights, diffusers, and stands. I have only 30 minutes on set to get lights, mics, and cams up so very little time to play. I've learned to hire a PA for these shoots to help. I work one on one with a producer from an agency who hires me for these 1 day shoots. We start with interviews, break and then shoot broll. The shoot runs from 9am - 3pm and they pay me $2200 if the producer is there, or $2900 if I'm solo. She conducts the interviews via zoom or in person. No editing. Just delivery of RAW files. It's an extremely low stress production. Furthermore. I once had dreams of purchasing Aputure's, light domes, and Cstands, however now I'm dubious. One light would easily run me $1500..... My client has made it clear to me that she is more than happy with these results. The major benefits of my Godox kit is of course that it is super cheap. I don't even sand bag them on set because they are so light it's virtually impossible to hurt someone and if they fall they land light. Even if one were to fail, I'd still have a key light and they are of course crazy cheap to replace.

@Cody Milewski For sure. I don’t think this is the end all be all project. Mostly because there isn’t much growth or expansion. I’m not furthering portfolio. Just shooting generic corporate media. However, this project is a no brainer and supplies me with quick and easy cash that allows me to go out and find the bigger better projects.

@Ágoston Fehér Good question. Here's the story on how I found this client: I was living in Idaho at the time and was applying to everything I could in the surrounding areas. I had applied to this gig but didn't ever hear back. Then one day the producer called me frantically begging for me to help her in 48 hours. She explained that a shooter was supposed to fly in from Canada but couldn't make it. Being that we were in rural Idaho and it was urgent the ball was mostly in my court. She offered me $2900 to go shoot from 8am - 3pm. And deliver the footage. Which of course was a no brainer for me. I'm guessing she already had this budget worked out with the other videographer beforehand, and she was just willing to part ways with it. When she told me everything I just simply said "Don't worry. I'm here to help and we can get this done for you." I did that shoot and then the next day shot raw footage for a real estate company and made another $1100. Closed $4k for 2 days of shooting without ever touching editing software. It was a good 2 days. After that my producer would just call me every month or so and ask me to do another one. I just keep the same budget because I'm happy and she's happy and we have a trusted system working with each other now. She's sent me to Nebraska, South Dakota, Texas, etc. I've also accumulated thousands of flight miles working with her. There really is no magic trick to finding a client like this. You have to be out and looking 24/7. When you find one, keep them happy.
Anyone want a $2000 wedding
I have a client who is wanting to hire me to film their wedding ceremony only and deliver within three days for $2000. This really is too small of a budget for me and I am not into Wedding’s. Does anybody want this wedding? Client if you are in North Carolina
