🚀 Short Summary of the Day

Today was highly productive, filled with progress on my personal platform, the notJustDev hackathon project, and even preparing for the festive season for the first time in years.

📋 Detailed Progress and Achievements

Personal Platform Updates:

• Documented and finalised the latest updates, including integrating Convex and Clerk for custom authentication.

• Planned the Notion integration to act as a dynamic template for documents and outlined the roadmap to incorporate features from my wellness app.

Community Engagement:

• Caught up on posts within the community, recording and sharing progress updates from the past few days. Having notes written down beforehand made it much easier to compile everything.

Hackathon Progress:

• Worked for 4 hours on my Invoice Generator app for the notJustDev React Native hackathon.

• Utilised Expo and Expo Go on my iPad for testing and development, which has been smooth and efficient.

• Though I’m a little behind, I’m confident I can catch up over the weekend, as the hackathon spans the entire month.

Daily Life and Reflection:

• Took my dog for a walk and prepared the house for the holidays by bringing down the Christmas tree from the attic.

• This will be our first proper Christmas with a tree in 11 years, marking a significant step forward in celebrating the season while honouring my dad’s memory. The decade since he passed away has been extremely painful, but we’re finding ways to celebrate while honouring his memory.

Other Highlights:

• Watched my team’s emphatic 5-1 victory—a fantastic result!

• Relaxed in the evening with episodes of 9-1-1: Lonestar before heading to bed.

• Completed my daily maths lesson to maintain my streak.

💭 Final Thoughts

It’s been an emotional but fulfilling day. Progress on my projects felt great, and reviving the Christmas spirit after a decade has brought a bittersweet sense of closure and joy. Looking forward to continuing the momentum with my work and embracing the festive season.
