It is NOT easy by any means, whether it is getting the property alone, to having a ton of overhead, it all adds up and can become a huge stressor in your day to day life. Things go wrong as well, as does anything; your pressure washer can break, a client will be unhappy with the result or one of your guys calls off on a busy day. Each day is different, some days your phone can be off the hook and sometimes you may not get a single call, the most important part is taking the momentum of the good days and pushing harder on the bad ones. Stress will eat you alive if it is not delegated. Now There Are A TON Of Perks When It Comes To Owning A Shop As Well. We have noticed it build trust, clients also seem to take your services more seriously when you have a facility in place, and that can lead to higher paying jobs, more client retention and overall presence in your area. Control Of The Elements: You can work rain, snow or shine, with a shop you can schedule clients in at a higher rate and grow your team accordingly, which in turn leads to more money. Personally, we think owning a shop is better than going the mobile route; the investment may even be the same in most scenarios and from what we have researched and heard from others, a shop has a better return on investment in the long run.
