Inspiration
Jim Carrey once said "if there's a chance you can fail at something you don't want you might as well give a chance to do something you love". Last Saturday I had the honor to be in a Q&A with Tom Kenny (the voice of SpongeBob SquarePants) and he said "if someone else will take the job if you don't apply you might as well do it. Worst case someone else books the job anyway and best case is you get to be a part of something you wanted". Why do I say this? Because we seem to worry too much about playing it safe. As a teen and a young adult you have everything to go all in. No child to look after, no family to maintain, no debts. The sky is the limit. Take a chance. It only takes a leap of faith. What's something you believe your teen is struggling with that keeps him or her away from their dreams?
Day 18 of 75
The challenge continues. I’m learning so much about myself with this challenge. One, I need to get better with daily documentation. My plan was to document here each day which clearly I dropped the ball but I have been documenting my progress daily with a progress picture 🙌🏾 can’t wait to pop out and share. My biggest insight is that I do really well with a routine. Once I’m in the groove, I can do hard things. And so can you. What routine do you need to put in place to reach your goals? What routine do you need to help your children create so they can reach their goals?
Day 6 of 75
Today was a good one! I finished my gallon of water before 11pm (feels like a win) and noticed that the 35-degree walk didn’t feel as cold as it did on earlier days—maybe my body is getting used to the 🥶 I’ve been thinking a lot about how these daily habits are stacking up. I keep staring at my daily progress pics analyzing the size of my roll 😆 What are some small habits you’ve been doing that’s made a big difference for you or that you anticipate will make a big difference?

Day 5 of 75 Hard Challenge
Today makes 5 days 🙌🏾 I was so nervous to start, but now I’m in my groove. I created a manageable routine. Creating a routine is the key to accomplishing any goal. It’s like our body and mind just fall in line when it knows what to expect. It’s actually quite interesting. The same thing happens with our children. They thrive off predictability. No matter the age, a routine makes it easier for them to follow through with expectations. What routines do you have in place that work well for your self-care, health, parenting, or overall well-being?
