This group is a place to track, celebrate, and be rewarded for consistency.
Think Strava, but it is encouraged to post unimpressive' workouts.
When it comes to exercise, the natural tendency is to think - if I am not doing it optimally (for results), it is not worth doing at all.
This is a way our brain convinces us it is reasonable to do nothing as optimising for results involves a lot of time & effort.
If we instead, optimise for consistency and make it OK to only do a tiny amount (60 seconds of one strength exercise for example) then it puts us back on the hook as it is unreasonable to not do the smallest possible action.
The friction to getting started is often the hardest part of exercise. So, if you take the smallest action, you are much more likely to continue.
But if you do not, that is fine. Making and keeping these small promises to ourselves build positive momentum and keeps us engaged in the process.
