Hi, I'm Juan; new to this place.
You can find me on Instagram as @Juanimation. I’m passionate about creating experiences that resonate—moments and stories that connect on a deeper level. I started out on the path to becoming a 3D animator, but I’ve since shifted gears into videography and editing, and I’m loving every step of the journey. My ultimate goal is to become a creative director for commercial projects, blending creativity and strategy to tell compelling stories that capture attention and leave an impact. I’m just getting started, but I’m excited to learn, grow, and create with all of you! pd: 2 days ago I released the first video I fully produced https://www.instagram.com/reel/DCjwls5x897/ would love to hear some feedback

Color Accuracy: MacBook Pro or Asus ProArt PA329CRV?
Hey everyone, I'm facing a dilemma regarding color accuracy between my MacBook Pro M1 (2021) and the Asus ProArt PA329CRV. Both monitors are calibrated, but the colors on the MacBook and my iPad are much more similar, while the Asus monitor appears warmer. I've calibrated both myself, but I'm unsure whether I should manually adjust the settings until the colors match the MacBook, or if I should trust what the Spyder X has calibrated. Which monitor do you think is more color-accurate for photo and video work – the MacBook Pro or the Asus ProArt PA329CRV? Should I trust the Spyder X calibration, or manually adjust to get the MacBook's color accuracy? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences! Thanks!

Problem with not identifying a niche…
“If you’re good at everything you’re good at nothing” - unknown This saying applies to photography and videography a ton. Most beginners who are still new to business make the mistake of selling themselves as an “everything photographer”. This basically describes someone who takes all kinds of proposals for the sake of making money. You may have fallen into this trap yourself… Photographing everything makes it hard to attract clients. This is because you don’t have a clear niche, and so clients don’t know what you’re actually good at. To fix this issue choose a niche (e.g., weddings, portraits, or product photography) to focus your marketing efforts and establish expertise. When I started doing this I started earning way more and gaining trust, and in the photography/videography world trust is immensely important. Hope this helps 💪
