Problem with not identifying a niche…
“If you’re good at everything you’re good at nothing” - unknown
This saying applies to photography and videography a ton.
Most beginners who are still new to business make the mistake of selling themselves as an “everything photographer”.
This basically describes someone who takes all kinds of proposals for the sake of making money.
You may have fallen into this trap yourself…
Photographing everything makes it hard to attract clients. This is because you don’t have a clear niche, and so clients don’t know what you’re actually good at.
To fix this issue choose a niche (e.g., weddings, portraits, or product photography) to focus your marketing efforts and establish expertise.
When I started doing this I started earning way more and gaining trust, and in the photography/videography world trust is immensely important.
Hope this helps 💪
