As we embrace the sacred 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, I want to reflect on the following Hadiths: "Allah is helping the servant as long as the servant is helping his brother." "Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter" (Sahih Muslim). Among the good deeds, helping a fellow Muslim is one of those most loved by Allah. I hope that we as a community can continue to support each other in an effort to restore ourselves as intellectual leaders.
