What are exit interviews?
These are simple 30-minute calls you have with your clients when they ask to leave your agency
Why use exit interviews?
Two main benefits
- Get a good understanding of why the client is leaving. The key here is taking the relevant feedback to improve your service delivery and prevent this from happening again
- Upsell clients - For example if a client is leaving because they don't have enough support there is the potential to upsell them to a higher package with support
How to apply exit interviews?
Add a clause in your contract that states the client must go through a 30 min call before leaving your agency and then very simply ask them to hop on a call before they hop off to collect necessary feedback and potentially upsell them
