Contracts Are Just a Piece of Paper
Let’s be real—if someone doesn't want to pay, they won't.
There's little you can do about it.
However, having a contract in place is non-negotiable.
It shows that you're serious about your work.
It brings a level of professionalism to the table.
You can Google all the benefits if you need more reasons.
Create a contract in 30 mint's.
→Step 1:
Go to ChatGPT and use the prompt below to get started:
"I need a comprehensive and professional service contract for [your business], which provides [your service].
The contract should cover all essential elements, including scope of services, payment terms, confidentiality, termination clauses, and any other relevant sections.
Please create a detailed contract template customized for my business.
Before drafting the contract, ask me at least 15 questions to gather the necessary information and ensure the contract meets my specific requirements.
Afterwards, use my responses to build a complete contract template."
ChatGPT will then provide you with a detailed contract draft based on your answers.
→Step 2:
Review the generated contract.
Edit it to fit your business requirements.
Remove what doesn’t apply, and add any specifics.
→Step 3:
Once you’re done editing, take the entire text and give the following prompt to ChatGPT:
"Below is my current contract template.
Please review it and identify areas for improvement.
Highlight any sections that are irrelevant or unnecessary for a service contract in my industry.
Provide specific suggestions on how I can enhance the contract's clarity, completeness, and professionalism."
ChatGPT will then suggest what to add or remove.
Make the recommended changes.
Copy each point in the contract.
Ask ChatGPT to explain it so you know what’s in the contract.
I’m not a lawyer, but this is a quick way to do it.
