๐ŸŽ‰ WELCOME!!! ๐ŸŽ‰
Welcome in! Here's everything you need to know to make the most out of being here... 1. This community was built to be THE PREMIER HANGOUT for anyone in sales or with a sales background. Invite your friends. Be active. Network. Come in when you have questions. The worst thing anyone can do in sales is not talk to anyone and be alone. By definition, you'll make no money lol. 2. If you'd like to have the opportunity to meet fellow pro's in person when they're in your area, or network with people already near you, click this link and add your own city! Simply visit THIS LINK, click on the pin/location button in the bottom right corner, and click "edit location." Drop your city name in there (not your home address) and that's it! I know I'll certainly let you know if I'm every in the area so I can buy you dinner or something. :) 3. Any time you comment on a post, follow up with posing a question. This sparks growth, conversation, networking, and you'll ultimately have more fun in the community... I guarantee it. Let's practice... COMMENT on THIS POST with the following: 1. Name 2. Where you're from 3. What you do/did in sales 4. One (or more) hobby/activity you enjoy (so we can connect people who like the same things) 5. Your favorite sales meme/gif 6. ONE FOLLOW UP QUESTION (maybe about sales skills? Anything you'd like to ask. We have some SAVAGE salespeople, managers, trainers, consultants, and veterans in here) See you there! :)
Complete action

Going To Sell Professionally for more than 15 minutes
Hello everyone am Isabelle M, from Ontario, Canada. Hobbies I enjoy hoping to learn to play music, read on self help, coaching people for free if they whine at me for more than 15 minutes,: learning how to coach people who ask me for coaching 1. What you do/did in sales = customer service which is selling the brand again to disapointed customers and playing defence to defend the brand.. etc 2. 3. Your favorite sales meme/gif 4. ONE FOLLOW UP QUESTION (maybe about sales skills? Anything you'd like to ask. We have some SAVAGE salespeople, managers, trainers, consultants, and veterans in here)

You need to 10X what you do
10X Mentality: I thought this was BS but Grant Cardone was right, to the dot So Grand Cardone has written a book called "The 10X Rule" and his thesis is basically that you need 10 times more action than you expect to achieve an outcome. It's true, here's my story: This was around 3 weeks after I started into door to door sales. With that I mean walking up to people and selling them free solar consultations. Should be pretty easy, right? I just need a phone number and its's a fully free thing... but hell nah haha. But since we are optimists over here we think everything is possible, so I set my goal. Get 3 collected leads for free solar consultations every day. I would know 60 times a day, so: 60 knocks = 3 generated leads == 20 knocks per generated leads I went ahead and got knocking, in the beginning I started with just 15 a day and worked my way up to 60 a day. We're now 170 knocks in and still 0 generated leads (for a fully free consolation). Until at around the 3 week mark, when I got my first ever door to door generated lead! After 199 knocks, instead of 20. Yes I really needed around 200 knocks for a lead instead of 20. So Grant Cardone was right, on the dot. TL;DR: It really is just volume. 10X your inputs and then look again. Ended up doing 6,6x the amount of knocks in a day than when I was starting (100 knocks vs. 15) (Not in Door to door anymore, tho I though this would be interesting to share for any industry)
