🔥 The Secret to Unlocking Success: The 6 Human Needs Framework
I just watched an AMAZING video by Russell Brunson, where he shared a game-changing principle he learned from, Tony Robbins.
This ONE framework has impacted Russell's life, business, marriage, and more—and it can do the same for you. Let’s dive into the 6 Human Needs and how understanding them can unlock your success.
What I Learned: The 6 Human Needs
According to Tony Robbins, everyone is driven by six core needs, and these needs shape every action we take. Four of these are needs of the body (personality), and two are needs of the spirit.
The Needs of the Body:
Certainty: We want to feel safe, secure, and sure about what’s going to happen in life.
Variety: We also crave excitement, adventure, and surprise in life. We want something new and different!
Significance: We want to feel special, important, and recognized for who we are and what we do.
Love & Connection: We need relationships—whether it’s with a spouse, family, friends, or even colleagues. Everyone wants to feel loved and connected.
The Needs of the Spirit:
Growth: We all want to grow—personally, spiritually, professionally. Without growth, we feel stagnant.
Contribution: The desire to give back, serve others, and make a positive impact beyond ourselves.
These needs drive us, whether we realize it or not, and they can either push us towards success or pull us into unhealthy habits. The trick is to meet these needs in healthy, productive ways.
How You Can Apply This:
Take some time to reflect on how you’re currently meeting these needs:
Certainty: Where are you finding stability in your life?
Variety: How are you keeping things exciting and fresh?
Significance: What makes you feel valued?
Love & Connection: How are you nurturing relationships?
Growth: What are you doing to grow and improve?
Contribution: How are you giving back to others?
Ask yourself: Are you meeting these needs in healthy ways, or are you falling into unhealthy habits?
Start making intentional choices to fulfill these needs in ways that support your goals and lead to growth.
How I'm Putting This Into Practice:
I’m finding stability through the systems and frameworks I’m using and learning about, like my power list, Funnel Builder certification training, and the Linchpin training I’m going through in the Prime Movers Coaching Program.
I’m keeping things exciting with a variety of projects, like promoting the Selling Online event, building my Challenger community, and creating content.
I feel a sense of significance by providing value in this community and building my own, where I’ll be able to partner with others and help them reach milestones like the 2 Comma Club.
When it comes to relationships, this community has been amazing, and the daily interactions with everyone here are helping me improve my relationship-building skills.
Growth has been a constant focus, and I’m always learning and expanding as I continue to push new boundaries in my business.
Plus, giving back has been important to me—whether it’s through the content I create or the support I offer to others, helping them succeed has been incredibly rewarding.
As I reflect, I’m asking myself if I’m meeting these needs in ways that are healthy and aligned with my long-term goals. Is there an area that might need more focus or balance? I want to make sure I’m intentional in how I fulfill these needs moving forward...
