I met with Eric of M7 Health today and they are HIRING! They're looking to fill 5-10 roles right now and likely more in the year ahead. A little bit about M7: They're focused on staff retention in healthcare, specifically nurses. The other co-founder is a nurse, so they understand the impact that a nurse's schedule has on their work life balance. The schedule determines when they sleep, what family events and holidays they miss, and what their life looks like week to week. So, they're starting with a tech-forward scheduling solution.
No more clipboard on the unit with a paper schedule. Their technology takes into account unit needs, as well as nurse preferences, with transparency that no one is getting an unfair advantage or disadvantage.
❇️ Here's what's great for you! ❇️ They think that having nurses on their team to be the ones to work with facilities to roll out this technology on their units is the key to their success. No one understands the intricacies of unit scheduling and operations like a nurse, so who better to get a unit of nurses on board and acclimated to this new technology than a nurse!?
They have 2 jobs they're hiring for right now:
- Account Manager. Think of this person as the project lead/ project manager for getting this tech up and going on a new unit. This person is responsible for owning the relationships with the managers and staff in the health system and managing the work that needs to be done.
- Customer Operations Associate. This is very much a hands on, go- do role. Instead of leading the overall project, you'd be working on specific tasks that need to be accomplished to push the implementation forward. This could mean teaching staff how to use the technology and intaking feedback from staff and management to then work with your team on a solution.
Both of the jobs are remote, but would require travel to facilities during rollout. You could likely expect 2-3 trips per month for a few days at at time.
You'd want to be someone who's fairly tech-saavy and capable of learning new technologies to the extent that you could communicate technological concepts to others.
🌟If you're interested, we'll need to make sure you have a non-clinical resume ready to go that communicates your applicable soft skills, then we can get you directly in Eric's inbox 📬
