The Value of Personal Branding
**Posted this on Twitter, but some of you here might find value in this as well.**
"What's the point of getting social media followers?"
Growing my audience to ~10,000 followers has CHANGED MY LIFE.
Here's are 10 ways I leverage Twitter:
1. First and foremost, I use Twitter to build relationships.
Many are friends, and some will likely turn into business partners.
2. I've been able to drive leads to my paid offerings (most notably my Offshore Hiring Guide and my content agency).
3. I write a newsletter about entrepreneurship, and the vast majority of my ~1,900 subscribers come from Twitter.
4. I monetize my newsletter through paid sponsorships, and business owners from Twitter are lining up.
5. I've made $1,000+ directly from Twitter's ad sharing program.
6. I've driven tens of thousands of Twitter folks to my company websites.
7. I've posted jobs and hired people from Twitter.
8. I launched a content agency, helping other grow / monetize / drive leads from Twitter.
9. When I'm ready to sell my company, I bet I'll sell it to someone from Twitter.
10. If I ever need to raise money for a future company, I'm confident some investors will be right here on Twitter.

When I started posting on here in June 2023, I had no idea where it would lead.
I had a feeling it would be a game changer, but I didn't know exactly ~how~.
Turns out, the possibilities are endless when you have a following.
So if you've been contemplating building your personal brand on Twitter, I HIGHLY recommend it.
