21DChallenge: The Two Day Rule
Happy Wednesday everyone!
I came across a post yesterday that reminded me of one of my favorite rules for consistency.
It's called the two day rule.
Whatever daily habit you're working on, (like eating more plants, moving daily, drinking water, etc) you do your best to never miss two days in a row.
Let's say you forgot to drink water yesterday, that's ok. It happens. But that means you will be hyper focused on drinking water today.
This ensures that in any week you'll at least hit your habit 4 out of 7 days.
Like always there's exceptions. If you're sick or something serious comes up then you'll miss more in a row. That's just life.
So if you didn't move yesterday let's make sure to do whatever you need to do to get some movement in today.
