Jacob shared this message in Everfit today and I thought it was so powerful, exactly the message I needed to hear today. About how as we progress and raise the standard for ourselves, our lowest moments now are better than our highest moments in the past.
Today I was just feeling weak during my workout, and thinking about how I'm small, etc. But even though I didn't lift as much as I wish I could during my workout, I still got up, did my morning routine, got my meals in, and worked out. A few years ago a good day would have been waking up late for class, spending most of my free time gaming, and eating only takeout and frozen dinners. Despite how I felt today, it's a FACT that the verison of me that I am today is a better version of me than the one from a few years ago. And it can only get better and go up from here with consistency and patience.
