New member with a question
Nice to meet you all, I think I waited 2-3 months until I finally got the approval email and I couldn't be more exited.
I'm trynna get myself known as Gaseb, and have my first project almost done (only mix/masters left to do) and I was wondering if you guys could help me with a question that's been bugging me since I started planning the songs I'll record and the release order 6-7 months ago.
So here goes:
What would you guys consider a better strategy, releasing an EP all together and promoting a song from it each week (having promoted the first song on the EP before and on the release week); releasing each song as a single, once every two weeks, have pre-release promos and promoting each song the week it is about to drop, converting the songs into an EP when all of them are released. (I'm not sure how good promoting the released song and the following one within the same week would look.)
Would love to hear what your thought are.
P.S. Keep going, you're enough.
