What's up guys. Looking to see if anyone has any little tips or insights on a more efficient way to do this.
So I'll be traveling around the country this year. I know a few people in Houston, NY, Miami, on & on, but to make the most of my time in these places I'm trying to make as many connections in each big city I'll be in as possible.
My way of trying to do this so far has just been to go to either the people I already know, or the pages/posts for places I know are relevant to each city, going through followers/commenters & hitting up people I might want to connect with that look like they're from there.
This is quite inefficient lol. It works, but I feel like there has to be a better way or ways I can at least improve what I'm doing. Typically for stuff like this my first go-to is Instagram because the messaging is smoother on there & usually I feel you can get more information about people on their IG pages than others, so I'll probably continue utilizing IG for this the most although they've recently made it more difficult to make new connections by allowing accounts to limit strangers to 1 request message like linkedin, as I'm sure you've all noticed.
Any tips or ideas on how to improve this process in any way, or ideas on other ways to achieve this expanding network goal would be much appreciated. Thanks, ~ D
