what is a Homebrew rule you use at your game?
My homebrew rule is an alternate system for inspiration called "fate points" based on how much my characters roleplay their bonds flaws and ideals, or interact with the world in creative ways. fate points go to a max of ten and can be used to add to the modifier of any d20 roll. I love this because it encourages my players to roleplay because they are rewarded more often, and my players love saving up their fate points for an epic moment, (some players will just waste them instantly) I haven't noticed a change in balance that disrupts the game, I think this is a good rule to implement for dms who are having a hard time getting their players to roleplay. what homebrew rule do you have that you love?

Welcome Dragon Slayers! (comment your favorite class below)
I built this community so that DnD players could have an easy and convenient spot to become the best possible adventurer/dungeon master. inside we have courses to take you from a beginner, all the way to an expert-level dungeon master or player, I'll also be including a one-stop page for every class that will come complete with spells, roleplaying tips, resources, and much more. go from a peasant to creator of realms, by engaging in the community and completing assignments and quests each assignment is designed to make you a better player or dm, while being in one convenient spot. if you come across an assignment in the classroom, feel free to post it in the assignments tab and get feedback (I will not tolerate bullying) I plan to grow and improve on this community every day just to get to know everyone... comment your favorite class.
