Truly the craziest thing happened

I’m at a work offsite with 25 colleagues. We’re at a hotel in the mountains of Serbia and a freak snowstorm hit. Our evening event included a live band but only the drummer and bass player made it up the mountain. The other half of the band got stranded along the way.

The hotel has an electric piano in the lobby so I offered to play the piano and sing. We ended up playing a full set of 12 songs. My coworkers joined in on a bunch of them.

I am not really at a performing level with my piano so I leaned on the vocals and just tried to focus on the rhythm with the piano.

My coworkers were super impressed (and seemed to enjoy it) and I had a blast.
