Schedules 🗓️ When do you do what you do?
Interested to hear about when people do their exercise. I’m a morning person. I choose to get it done within the first hour or two of each day. This is my daily schedule. I might add this as a part of the classroom section. Monday - Zone 2 Tuesday - Strength Wednesday - Zone 2 Thursday - Strength Friday - HIIT Saturday - Zone 2/strength/challenge Sunday - Rest (or catchup if I missed something) That’s it. Every week. All the time. What about you??👇

🔈 Podcast Summary: Huberman Lab: Microplastics. The effects and how to reduce them
Microplastics information is coming out at a rapid pace right now. Is this a big fuss about nothing or a time bomb for our health? Andrew Huberman takes a look at the effects and how to reduce any negative aspects of microplastics. I'll certainly be making some changes following this. This 1.5 hour podcast turns into a 2-3 minute summary.

HIIT Day Sprints
Today I sped things up a bit on the treadmill as part of a goal to hit a sub 20min 5k (and smash my VO2 Max goal) After a decent 10-15 min warmup I did this… (2 mins @ 16km/ph, 2 mins walk) X 4 16 km/ph is basically a sprint for me. It’s all about getting used to running at a faster pace. This pace will easily get me under a 30 min 5k. Just need to train my body to maintain it. This type of HIIT session is extremely good for increasing VO2 Max Is anyone doing anything similar??👇

HIIT Day Sprints
My intro...why I'm doing this...
Hey I'm Michael, aged 40, from London, UK. I have been a Firefighter in a UK fire service for 18 years. According to tons of research my career will decrease my life span drastically. Due to stuff like exposure to carcinogens/toxins, disturbed sleep and shift work, stress, the list goes on. 2 years ago I decided to actively work towards earning back some of the years I will have lost. In doing this training for longevity i've actually achieved so much more. I am now fitter than I've ever been, i'm motivated, consistent and have a singular purpose. It's been a life changing shift. And I hope to help others do the same. Top Tip: all your short term goals come true when you start thinking long term.
