3 Ways to??
Business is about making money? (If that is not part of the goal then you have yourself something other than a business.) So once you have your first sale.... you will need to make more. There are 3 ways to increase your revenue. 1. Sell More 2. Increase Your Price 3. Decrease Your Costs What do you think? The one that you choose to focus on is up to you. Each can work. You may even be able to do all three. Now what do you think?

Most of us need more than a first impression...
When you are a business owner your first impression might be your only impression. You will have to make sure to make the best first impression possible. This is not to say that what you put out needs to be perfect. What I am saying is that the better the 1st impression is, the better your chances of getting a second one will be. This is why we need to put out quality that resonates with our customers. From letting them know why they care, to what we can do for them, to quality graphics and even our promise to do as we say. Take the time to always make the best 1st impression possible because there is always someone who has never heard of you before. Most of us need more than a first impression, so do everything in your power to get it. Never stop putting yourself out there even when you are not the best. But never be afraid to get better at what you are putting out there either. What are you doing today? This week? This month? This year? to make a better 1st impression?

Do You Suffer From Talking to Everyone?
Josh did! Josh had started his landscaping business a few years ago but last winter, decided to join my class at the local community college. He wanted to grow his business and knew he needed help. In the class about Niche, we talked about not throwing tacks at a wall. Instead we want to throw darts at a dart board. 🎯 If you try to cover every subject for every person you miss so many times and your tacks just fall to the floor. When you focus in one particular area, you speak more directly to fewer people.... BUT MORE PEOPLE HEAR YOU! This made sense to Josh. The next week he comes in and tell me how he had signed up for a lead generation app. He put out his landscaping services and had a bunch of leads. But when he looked at the leads… none of them were the type of client he was looking for. Josh realized that not only did he need to be specific with his niche, but he also needed to be specific on his customers. He immediately turned off the the lead gen app and we went deep on his target customer. Once we figured out who they were, we set our sights on thinking about why they needed his services. We identified some local places to find his customers, some online places and then we got to work on the best ways to talk to them. After that, Josh was ready to start talking to people again, because now he was throwing darts at the dart board. 🎯 👉 Ready to dive deeper and do what Josh did? The Target Customer Course is coming soon.🌟 #BusinessTips #Marketing101 #TargetCustomer #LearnBusinessU #learnonline #entrepreneur #startabusinessonline #customeravatar

Lazy Sunday = Marketing Prep
Today I had a lazy Sunday with my 6 year old. She had fun creating drawings and crafts next to me while I enjoyed creating a bunch of posts for my new Ducks of Business Faceless Instagram account. The lazy part is that I basically sat on my butt all day... I created this account specifically to test out Faceless Marketing. The goal is to have this account mostly scheduled posts so all I really need to do is interact and create connections. In order to do that I needed to start out with some marketing prep. Today's task was to sit on my tail feathers playing with Canva for a few hours. Below you will see a bunch of posts and 1 carousel post that I made today. These are all now posts that I can schedule as well as templates for future posts. Put in the prep for your marketing and you will be rewarded.
