Technical Question Re:Access to client website / hosting
Hi all,
I want to run Google Ads for client.
Context: Client has had website built for him by third party and he has no idea where the hosting is. He has access to the website + domain manager.
I guess this is all I need from the client right is the login details of the website + domain manager? From here, I use Hostinger, so all I have to do is point the domain to my hosting provider. Am I missing anything here i.e. would the website just completely crap itself if I suddenly moved hosting providers?
I'm guessing what I do from here is then create a subdomain on top of the existing website, which I'll be able to do via Hostinger. Note, client wants to move Host providers, so he's happy to move to my hosting. What would happen if he didn't want to move hosts?
Seems a little too simple ...
