Trading using the Replay
Just want to verify I understand how this works. When you go into Replay in Tradingview and make a trade in the past, then let the candle bars form, Tradingview doesn't give you any indication of if the order got filled and if it was a profit or loss, correct? It's only for you to observe how your trade would have worked out?

They do form a little trail after it hits of very tiny bars kind of hard to see at times

thank you Coy. I didn’t notice them but I’ll keep an eye out for those.

To add to what Coy was saying, the trade box changes color while you are "in the trade." There is a dotted line tracing entry point to target. It will also trace to stop loss if it's a losing trade.
Here's an example (zoomed in for clarity):

You are correct sir. If you are using the short or long buttons you can follow along visually to see if your trades hit the profit mark or stop loss.

Where things get tricky is if price movement taps your exact entry price and goes the other way. It's going to show that your trade is filled in TradingView replay mode, but that may not be correct in the live market environment.
To be clear, this is only a concern when it just barely touches your entry price like this:

thanks Bruce. That’s is good information to know.

count that as a win in replay. If that happens often in your data, you may want to move entry to the top or halfway of the Superman candle, like Bruce's previous pic.
