Ad spend: $5500
Leads: 250
Appointments: 153
Revenue: $83k
I onboarded this client almost 4 months ago. They had spent little to no money with zero results before I came on board. We set a target of $100k in 90 days and made a strategic plan with a monthly ad spend budget of $2k to achieve the targeted results. I was assigned a designer to make creatives of my choice from him, while I was supposed to make ad copies myself.
Before launching the ads, I did thorough research into the competitorsโ ads and how they were crushing the ads. We analyzed all the creatives, ad copies, and offers that were working for them so we wouldnโt have to spend too much of a budget on testing. You donโt need to reinvent the wheel โ itโs already there. So try and test ideas that are working for your competitors.
I made 2 versions of 8 different style creatives from the designer, drawing inspiration from the competitors. Out of 8 creatives, 2 creatives were before-and-after style creatives, 2 showed how customers would feel after availing the service and installing the product, 3 were focused on the main picture image that the customer installs and 1 was focused on the offer.
I put both versions of each creative into the dynamic ad and tested all 8 creatives in different ad sets and campaigns. I started testing all the creatives on broad audience in all campaigns. After spending around $1200, (thatโs the reason you see high CPL for some ads) I got enough data to make decisions and optimize the ads. Out of the 8 creatives, only 3 creatives performed exceptionally well. 2 were the before-and-after creatives, and 1 was showing the feelings customers would have after the service. I turned off the other creatives and scaled only these 3.
Ad copy was crucial for us since we were using the broad audience, so Meta AI had to target the audience based on our creatives and ad copy. We aimed to write as precise copy as possible. I used the same ad copy structure that I have explained in this community before.
๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ: we started the ad copy with a strong hook to grab the audience's attention.
I put a question in front of them to ignite their emotions and asked them if they wanted to transform their experience/life.
I answered the questions by explaining how our services could transform their experience.
I listed the benefits of our service in bullet points.
After the benefits, I introduced the offer in the copy: a free quotation upon submitting the lead form and 25% OFF the service.
Lastly, we provided a clear CTA, so the audience knows what to do next.
We used only one ad copy with this structure, and it crushed.
After spending $1200 initially, we found out our winning creatives. We turned off all other ads except 3 ads that were working well. As consistent leads came in, we decided to scale the ads by duplicating them and increasing the budget for the duplicated ads.
Scaling is all about smart adjustments to maximize your ad spend without compromising results.
We are already using a landing page to capture the leads so the leads were of high quality since we asked 4-5 qualifying questions. After capturing the leads, now it was time to convert them into appointments. We usually call the leads in the first 30 minutes to lock them quickly. During the call, we offered them a free quotation to encourage them to book an appointment. This freebie worked really well, and most of the leads converted into appointments.
This case study explains the entire process of how I generated 83k revenue for a client in just 90 days and how I managed ads from scratch. While we fell slightly short of the $100k target, but there are still open opportunities, and I hope the client can close them to reach the full $100k.
