What customer (the person) and client (the dog) scheduling and interaction tips you've learned that make for a great experience?
For me I switched to texting more than phone calls because it it keeps a record of conversations and I can send their next appointments with the day before reminder text.
Giving pick up times instead of calling when done let's them plan their day while the dog is being groomed instead of waiting around for a call.
Having set pick up and drop off times on the hour. I don't have to put a dog away for a pick up. I make exceptions for some, but they tell me.
Turning down music, off driers and making sure the salon is vacuumed and tidy (and myself) before a customer walks in. I hear about other salons being noisy, hectic and smelly.
Spending time to actually listen to what someone wants with the groom and how often they want to come in and avaliablity, so I can have their next appointment ready when they pick up.
