We talked about mindset and teaching businesses - and why taking the first step is always so hard.
We hear teachers talk about risk and fear of failure.
My question is:
- What is that risk?
- What would that failure look like?
We all work in a highly precarious industry. One with low job security. A language school can fire us tomorrow.
In fact, here in Toronto, one of the biggest and longest standing schools shut down last week.
All those teachers are not unemployed.
For us, the risk is in not diversifying your income streams. And starting a side hustle business is a great way to build a safety net.
