Instructive Games Study

I have been adding games to my personal Instructive Games Study on Lichess.

We don't often see 1.c4 as Black (3% of games) even though it is the 3rd Most played opening move behind 1.e4 and 1.d4. Because of this our study time towards that opening can be limited especially as Club players.

By replying with the Reverse-Morra (1...d5 2.cxd5 c6) we take white down a path that they are only seeing in 0.1% of their games if they are a 1.c4 player. Our singular sacrificed pawn has now taken our opponent completely out of their opening prep and has not even yielded them a significant computer calculated advantage (+0.6). In practical terms we have stolen the development advantage away from white and have made them play our game.
