Dedicated or Transactional Freight?
As a broker, there's all this hoopla about filling your pipeline with as many customers as possible because of the churn and the reasoning to continue prospecting so that you can keep the revenue pipeline flowing.
However, I'm highly logical and always question the norm due to my never ending intuitive nature.
So let's dig into this, just a little bit, because .....trust me me I could write for hours on end.
Let me ask you this, why the churn? why do customers leave? are they just there to fill a need, void? How much time did you spend getting this client onboard? How much time will you spend finding a replacement?
Which is better to manage and why?
  • Would you rather manage 2 clients producing $10Mil in revenue annually? or
  • Would you rather manage 20 customers producing $5Mil in revenue annually?
Pros & Cons are welcomed as well
