‘Reel Minds’ Miami Mental Health Film Festival 2024

Hello, fellow filmmakers! Tomorrow Oct. 20th is NAMI Miami’s Mental Health Film Festival (also known as The ‘Reel Minds’ Film Festival). My MDC Workshop Thesis film, UNNESTED, got selected! Many members of this community worked so hard on this film, so let’s come out and support each other.

NAMI is the National Alliance for Mental Illness, an important organization that does amazing work in Miami. This festival is a special one, as this year marks the return of the festival since 2019 due to the pandemic. It will be held at the beautiful Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center (The Moss Center) in Cutler Bay and there will be numerous guest speakers including Mayor of Miami Dade County Daniella Levine Cava. As you can see, it’s an important event!

The festival in general will be very hopeful and uplifting, while tackling some serious topics. The goal of the festival is to present mental health in a respectful, artistic and optimistic light 🌟🧠 See you there!
