Yesterday I received notification that my thesis film UNNESTED has been selected into its 10th film festival this year. This time last year we were cramming in post production so we could screen our film at the Miami Dade College Bachelor’s Student screening. Fast forward to now and I’ve met so many people from all walks of life at these festivals and they loved the film so much. How is everyone, been a while.

Yesterday I watched Conclave, directed by Edward Berger. Based also on a book, the film is perfectly crafted and acted. Ralph Fiennes is phenomenal in his portrayal of a cardinal trying to maintain tradition without ignoring the flaws of the Catholic Church. The secrets, the conspiracy, the internal fights for power within one of the oldest institutions in history is laid out thru its characters. I liked the film very much, just think the ending scene wasn’t as powerful as the rest. Let me know your thoughts when you watch it.
