Can a Teacher be an Entrepreneur? [Friday Coffee Corner]
Just wrapped up an eye-opening interview with Richard Robbins—a teacher-turned-entrepreneur who’s brought his 21 years of experience to classrooms in China, a thriving homeschool, and his own business ventures. Here are some golden nuggets from Richard’s journey: 🔄 Keep Learning, Always: Richard believes being an eager learner is one of the best ways to inspire students. 👩‍🏫 Challenge Your Students: Encourage questions and critical thinking! This goes beyond the textbook and helps students truly understand and grow. 👨‍👧‍👦 Involve Family: Richard homeschools his 8 kids and runs a family business, teaching them hands-on skills in everything from business to personal finance. 💪 Adapt and Thrive: From teaching English in China without knowing Mandarin to running his family business, success lies in the power of resilience and adaptability. Ok! So, which takeaway resonates with you most? #EducatorEntrepreneur #TeachingJourney #InspiredLearning #EntrepreneurLife #EducationCommunity

Learn to adapt if you want to grow [Friday Coffee Corner]
A few days ago, I had an inspiring conversation with an educator with a business mindset. Brendan’s journey from community tutor to education entrepreneur is packed with wisdom for all of us—especially those of us building our own educational ventures! Here’s what really stood out: 🌱 Adaptability is Everything: Every student is unique, and flexibility in teaching helps us connect deeply and make a lasting impact. 🌱 Make Learning Relatable: He emphasizes using interactive activities and real-world applications to keep students engaged. It’s a reminder to meet learners where they are. 🌱 Never Stop Growing: Teaching is a journey, and building a strong support network can help us stay motivated and grow alongside our students. What’s your biggest takeaway from the word "adapt"?💬 #Educators #Entrepreneurship #TeachingJourney #Inspiration 👉 Read the Full Interview Here: https://teachng.com/interview/brendan-brown/

Question...who is an Educator exactly? [Friday Coffee Corner]
I've interviewed many educators today, and this keep me thinking. Who is an educator? Does being an educator means to be someone who've gone through professional training in education? Yes? No? Not sure? My recent interview with one of the educator helped me shade some light. “Like a leader doesn’t need a title to lead, neither does an educator need a title to make a positive impact on people.” I just love the definition of an educator. An educator don't need a title An educator don't need a position An educator is a person that make positive impact to people. Love Music? He Sure Does! [Friday Coffee Corner]
🎶 Just wrapped up an amazing interview with 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀, a music educator with 9 years of experience and Founder & CEO of Team Ukulele, LLC. 🎸 Matthew’s journey from performing in bars to teaching K-8 music and running his own business is truly inspiring. Here are my top 3 takeaways from our conversation: 1. "𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂." Standing firm is key with adolescents. 2. 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 to keep students focused. 3. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 clearly to manage your classroom effectively. If you're an educator or love teaching, Matthew’s story will inspire you.✨ 👉 Read the full interview here: https://teachng.com/interview/matthew-jones/ #Education #MusicTeacher #Inspiration
